I love you.
Sorry but like how is no one freaking out about The Sims 4?
LOOK AT IT. LOOK.
THERE AREN’T ANY SLIDERS. YOU CAN ADJUST BODY SHAPE SO YOU COULD HAVE A FAT SIM WITH SKINNY LEGS AND BROAD SHOULDERS. OR A SKINNY SIM WITH A BARREL CHEST AND CHUNKY THIGHS.
SIMS HAVE EMOTIONS AND MEMORIES ACTUALLY AFFECT WHAT YOUR SIMS CAN DO.
AND THEY DON’T LOOK LIKE WEIRD, SHINY, PUDDING PEOPLE.
ALSO JUST LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL THAT FIRST PICTURE IS. LOOK AT IT.
MY BODY IS READY.
But my wallet is not.
I HAVE ALL THE SIMS 3 EXPANSION PACKS BUT I WANT THIS SO BAD
If you are still paying back a student loan that you took out in 1998 or after, then you’re in for a nasty shock. George Osborne has confirmed that the government is committed to selling off student loans taken out from 1998-2012 to private companies. If this goes ahead, all students and graduates with any student debt remaining could face years more of repayments on our loans as interest rates are likely to soar. In other words, this proposal could lead to a retrospective hike in tuition fees. Furthermore, instead of being reinvested in education, loan repayments will instead go to private profit.
What you can do to stop this sell-off from going ahead:
- Lobby your MP to sign an Early Day Motion in Parliament opposing the sell-off of student loans using this online tool: www.thestudentassembly.org.uk/lobbying-tools
- Sign the online petition, which already has over 16,000 signatures:http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/52145
- Tweet your opposition to the sale of student loans directly to the Prime Minister David Cameron at @Number10gov – make sure you include the hashtag #StopTheSellOff in your tweet.
- Register to vote at http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/. This is meant to be your government, and unless you are prepared to get involved in direct action, the only way you can affect real, lasting change is with your vote.
Please reblog (as text, the link version removes all the actual information), tweet, share and anything else to get the word out. We need to fight this, together.
The epetition and lobbying take less than 5 minutes. Boiling a kettle takes longer than it does to oppose a crippling student loan hike.
